Well, Texas is big, no doubt about it! We kicked off around 10:30 after the usual breakfast and pack up ritual (that’s about 1 hour 20 minutes) and spent the whole day heading north westwards.
The roads are awesome here, hardly any traffic, speed limits still at 75 mph well kept nothing to complain about there. We are a long way from the below average Louisiana, Alabama or Florida roads!
Along the way we came across a cattle auction house in full sale swing, so we poped in and watched the proceedings for a little while. Couldn’t quite understand what the auctioneer was mumbling but never the less interesting.
We are now about half way through the state and this is where population starts thinning out even more. Towns get further and further apart and so do the fuel stations. Good thing we have about 400 Kms of range, but we will still need to fill up when the opportunity presents itself.
All things being well, we have another 2 days to get through the rest of the state.

Another uneventful day brings you closer to the next eventful day.
Still, a cattle auction is relatively rare.

Waauw on such roads you can push down for a long while and get there in no time !! Any police in sight ?
There is lots of police but with speed limits at 80 miles per hour on the highways and 75 on the secondary roads, we hardly break the limits! If the limits are reasonable I am happy staying within!
