We started the day with some kayaking looking for manatees. We found the manatees and slipped in the water with them. It was quite the experience seeing these gentle creatures grazing away on the bottom of the river.

From there we packed up and hit the road to keep the westward progress going.
290 Kms to Newport just south of Tallahassee
We managed to get as far as Newport, just south of Tallahassee where we camped for the night.
