With less than 2 weeks to go, we finalized the preparations on the lady bug. Just a few ergonomic improvements to the luggage system. With the duffle bag on the pillion seat, Zoe couldn’t open her panniers. So we addressed that issue with a left over Jesse top box rack, some scrap aluminium we found in the shipyard and some head scratching.
The result is a raised platform, a good securing place for the duffle bag with enough room to open the panniers and allow to remove the saddle without dismateling anything.
Well worth the days work!

Dear Zoë and Tanguy, today 29 March, you’re off for an amazing trip! I wish you a safe trip, a happy trip, an enormously enjoying trip.
You decided to go on an adventure that very few people will dare, or have the opportunity to undertake.
The experience will last a lifetime!
